“Había una vez” Project
This project is a mischievous and reflexive proposal of urban landscape that combines different elements of recycled art into functional parts of urban value. Together, with the solution to the issue of the enlargement of the parking area and a large square of welcome area to Zona Franca San Isidro , the proposal not only sought to enrich the experience of arrival, but convert this space into a contribution to the urban environment and a experiential, experimental and allegorical offer.
The largest number of elements are concentrated in the central island: the Drums of Recycling, metal cylinders filled with bottles of colors lit from within to bring the spectacle of night lights; The PVC Lamps Forest perforated on gabions of 2.00 x 2.00 meters; The Little Paper Boats, made from recycled offset plates on an organic mirror of water; and The Hives, which are offered as elements of the city use, spaces where people can wait the public transport vehicles under a structure made from recycled PVC pipes used for telephony.
To one side of the project there is The Dry Trunk Forest, a rescue of studs for electrical lighting. This place is a scene of Zoomorfia, a proposal for recycling scrap metal into animals of all kinds.
